The 'E' team had four juniors playing, Matthew Potts (17yrs), Rachel Harding (15yrs), Grant Kelly (16yrs), and Adam Dainty (18yrs) together with Helen Woodfin and Caroline Poole. This weeks match was a tough one against Portishead 'B' an experienced team who are top of the Division. Portishead have won all their games this season and are averaging nearly 9 points per game, so for this young team to take several games to 21-18 means they did very well. The final score was a win by 8 rubbers to 1 for Portishead with the whitewash being saved when Rachel & Caroline beat Ginny Blackmore & Christine Brooks 21-18, 21-18. Rachel Harding played well and is developing into a good player.
