Uphill Badminton Club played the finals of the Club Tournaments and presented the end of season club trophies on their last night of badminton at Weston-Super-Mare Cricket Club. Uphill Juniors Strike Again

Uphill junior badminton club teams came 1st & 5th in the new Avon County, Clubs Under 15's Badminton Tournament, which was set up to promote inter-club play following the demise of the County under 15 & under 17 Junior Leagues, which Uphill won on numerous occasions.

Another Susccessful Season For Uphill

The 2003/4 season for Uphill Badminton Club was successful, both from the badminton and social point of view. The club has141 members varying in age between 5 and 68 years. There were ten league teams in action, nine teams were entered in the North Somerset Badminton League, seven in the mixed divisions one to seven, one each in the ladies & mens divisions and a team in the Bristol Mens League division one. The Uphill Badminton Club players have had another good week. The 'A', 'B', 'D', 'F', 'G' and Ladies North Somerset League teams have been in action this week producing 4 wins, a draw and a loss. The Bristol mens home match against RWP, was cancelled by RWP, an hour & a half before the match was due to start!!

Uphill Junior Badminton Club held their keenly contested end of season tournament with over 70 children from 6 to 16yrs old participating. Peter Coleman made the presentations on behalf of HOWARD GROUP who again made this end of season celebration possible by their kind sponsorship and provision of trophies.
