Uphills 'A' Team Retail League Title

Uphill Badminton Club had another successful week as the 'A', 'B' 'C', 'E', 'F' and mens league teams had five wins and one loss between them. The Clubs internal Mens doubles competition was also a great success.

Another Good Week for Uphill Badminton

Uphill had three league teams playing this week, the 'B', 'E' and 'F' teams and a team playing in the Sid Moxon Competition. The junior section also had a friendly match against Keynsham Junior Badminton Club from Bristol.

Uphill 'A' team were at home to Nailsea & Backwell 'A' and won by 6 rubbers to 3. This was a really important match for both teams, since the outcome may well prove to decide who are the league champions this season. Uphill Teams Win Again

This week saw league wins for Uphills 'C' and 'D' teams with both topping their divisions.

Uphill 'C' team were at home to Pill 'B' and continued their unbeaten run winning by 8 rubbers to 1. Despite the score line, this proved to be a good competitive match, with four of the rubbers going to three games, and two of these were in the first three mixed rubbers.
