Uphill 'D' was the only team in action this week and they beat their closest rivals, Wyvern 'C' team, by 8 rubbers to 1. This professional looking young team is continuing its unbeaten run and can be seen in the photo below. They have now played 5 matches, won 5, got 41 rubbers and 51 points. With half the season completed, they have only lost 2 rubbers. Uphill Mens Team Lead the Way

Uphill had three league teams playing this week, the 'E', 'F' and mens teams. The junior section also held its December internal tournament.

The 'E' team were away to Nailsea & Yatton 'D' and lost by 7 rubbers to 2. This was a hard fought match with two rubbers going to 3 games, and another two rubbers having close 17-14 games. First Loss in 2 Years for Uphill's 'A' Team

This week saw Uphills 'A', 'B', 'C' and 'F' teams in action with two wins and two losses.

Uphill 'A' team were away to Nailsea & Backwell 'A' and lost by 5 rubbers to 4. This match between the top two teams in the League proved to be rather unusual as the six ladies & mens rubbers were all very one sided.
