The 'A' team were away to Clevedon Feathers, in a top of the League clash, and lost by 6 rubbers to 3. This was only the 'A' teams second loss in their last 37 games and the Edwards brothers first mens doubles loss for three years.

The 'A' and 'C' teams were in action this week and a junior won at an Avon Tournament.
The 'A' team were away to Frys 'A' and had an excellent 8 rubbers to 1 win. Unfortunately Frys were missing their star first pairing of Chris and Viv Nash, which made the job all the harder for Frys.
The Uphill team of Nicky Mills (Capt.), Mark Edwards, Sue Blackmore, Paul Edwards, Becky Halfpenny and Ross Maclennan, all played well.

This week saw Uphills 'C' team who are in division 3, and the 'E' team who are in division 6, in action with two wins and a loss.
Uphill 'C' team had two matches. The first away to Nailsea & Backwell 'B' which they lost by 7 rubbers to 2 and the second at home to Winscombe 'A' team which they won by 5 rubbers to 4. This week saw Uphills 'A', 'B' and 'E' teams in action, with one wins and two losses.
The Uphill 'A' team consisting of Nicky Mills (Capt.), Mark Edwards, Becky Halfpenny, Paul Edwards, Sue Blackmore and Ross Maclennan were away to local rivals Wyvern 'A' and had an excellent 5 rubbers to 4 win in defence of their Division 1 crown.
