Winning Week for Uphill Badminton
Date: 27th November 2005Uphill have had another excellent week, with both the 'B' and 'E' winning their league matches and the juniors providing some excellent badminton in their monthly internal competition.
The 'B' team were at home to Clevedon Feathers 'B' and continued their unbeaten run, winning by 8 rubbers to 1. This was an entertaining match despite only 2 rubbers going to 3 games. Uphill 'A' team were at home to Clevedon Feathers 'A' and continued their unbeaten run, winning by 8 rubbers to 1. Date: 13th November 2005Uphill players have had a busy week with the 'A', 'B', 'D' and 'F' league teams all in winning action. The only blemish of the week was the loss in the George Rowden competition to a strong Clevedon Feathers team.
