Only the 'A' and 'C' teams were in action this week and both performed well.

The 'A' team were at home to Nailsea & Backwell 'A' and won by 9 rubbers to 0. This was a great win as Nailsea & Backwell 'A' are considered to be one of the top teams in the 1st Division. It was a hard fought match with the first three mixed rubbers determining the course of the evening. This week Uphill Badminton Club's 'F', mens, ladies and George Rowdon Trophy teams were in action, but only the ladies emerged with a win.

The 'F' team were away to Redwood Lodge and lost a hard fought match by 6 rubbers to 3. This was an entertaining match, with good badminton at this level. Uphills Badminton Club Has Busy Week

Uphill Badminton Club's 'A', 'B', 'D' and 'E' teams were all in action this week and recorded two wins and two losses.

The 'A' team, had a top of the League battle away to 2nd placed Clevedon Feathers 'A', and continued their winning run to consolidate their position at the top of the League. Tough Matches For Uphills 'E' & 'F' Teams

Uphills 'E' team, were at home to Wedmore this week and lost by 6 rubbers to 3. This was a very competitive match that was decided by the results of the three mixed rubbers. These were all very close, each of them going to 3 games, the last of which went to 14-17. However all these rubbers were eventually won by Wedmore.
