This was yet another good week for Uphill badminton, with Scott Horsnell (Uphill Junior Club) leading the way, and the 'B' team heading the 3rd Division.

Uphill Badminton Club's 'A', 'B', 'D', and Ladies teams were all in action this week and recorded two wins and two losses.

The 'A' team had a top of the League battle away to 2nd placed Nailsea & Backwell 'A', to further strengthen their position at the top of the League. They have now played 8, won 8, got 61 rubbers and 77 points. Uphill's 'A' Team Still Unbeaten

This week saw the 'A', 'C', 'E' and 'F' teams in action with mixed results.

The 'A' were at home to Clevedon Feathers 'A' and the match finished 5 rubbers to 3 in favour of Uphill. Unfortunately time ran out and the last rubber was unable to be played. Uphill Badminton Club's 'A', ladies, mens and Sid Moxon Plate teams have all started 2005 in fine style. With the 'A' team leading the way with a 9-0 win.
